In a 2019 article by the Houston Chronicle, Epilepsy Foundation Texas was named among the top-ranking Houston charities. The news source used information from Charity Navigator, a non-profit charity evaluator, to determine the top charitable organizations in Houston, and Epilepsy Foundation Texas in the number three spot for total expenses spent on our programs and services. We have achieved a 95.1% rating for utilizing funding to improve the lives of those with epilepsy through our programs and services. We attribute this great honor to our dedication to helping people with epilepsy and their families.
Our mission is to provide research, education, advocacy, and support for people with epilepsy. For this reason, 95 cents of every dollar directly funds programs and services for those affected by epilepsy.
