My biggest struggle, right now, is making sure not to become sleep deprived or stressed out from my college work. I’m very thankful for my family, especially my mom. They all support me in everything I choose to do.

I want (people) to understand that people with epilepsy are not any less ‘human’ than they are. It would also be amazing if they realize that there is so much more to epilepsy, than just someone falling and shaking. They also need to know that we are some of the strongest people that they may ever meet. What makes me upset is that people either treat us like we’re less than them, or they think it’s acceptable to make fun of epilepsy.
