Our high school, Hallettsville High School (Hallettsville ISD), not only wore purple arm bands but purple shoe laces and they made an announcement about epilepsy. And at the end of the game, the boys became district undefeated champs, they shared this huge milestone with Kyleigh. The head coach, Coach Pensik, told her they won this in your honor.
It took us 5 years of speaking and fighting to get some light shined on this subject, and finally it happened. Goes to show that if you speak up and speak out we will be heard! Go Hallettsville Brahmas!
