Family Camp with The Epilepsy Foundation Texas is a retreat
that fosters love, support, and understanding. It offers families affected by epilepsy a chance to bond, share experiences, and build lasting memories. Through educational sessions, therapeutic activities, and joyful experiences, participants learn about managing epilepsy while connecting with others who understand their struggles, celebrating courage and resilience, and promoting epilepsy awareness and advocacy.

Who Can Apply?
Families, of any age, with a primary diagnosis of epilepsy or seizure disorder may apply. The admission is for up to five family members. To participate, campers must live within our region. Generally, that includes Greater Houston, Deep East Texas, East Texas, the DFW area, North Texas, and all of West Texas. Campers are only eligible for one camp session per year, however.

Family camp is hosted at Morgan’s camp in San Antonio, TX! This beautiful and all-accessible camp is more than a camp—it’s an experience! Why Should You Go?
We believe that managing epilepsy is as much about strengthening the body as it is the mind. Fortunately, Camp E.E.G. offers a balance of both. During the session, campers will be physically and mentally engaged, fostering a sense of connection and community. As a result, campers will feel part of something bigger than themselves. Plus, the whole family is invited to join in! Come and be part of this fun-filled weekend!
How Much Does it Cost?
Private gifts fund the entire experience. As a result, camp E.E.G. is 100% free to our community of campers. So, you just worry about having a great time. Leave the rest to us!
