The best thing about working with our team at the Epilepsy Foundation Texas is that the impact is directed back to your local West Texas community. Our services in include youth and family camps, medical clinics, educational programs, and support groups. With your help, we hope to end epilepsy and improve the lives of the people who live in your community.

Mark Your Calendars: A Family Fun Day & Casino Night Are Coming This May!
After careful consideration, we have decided to move the Amarillo Cookout dinner event from October 4th to a new date in May 2026.
We are thrilled to share an exciting new vision for our annual community event. We are excited to announce a new format that offers something for everyone: a full day of celebration, split into two incredible events!
- Afternoon: A Community Event & Family Fun Day From the afternoon until early evening, we invite everyone to a brand-new family-friendly event. We’ll have a classic community cookout, live music, games for kids of all ages, and more. It’s our way of saying thank you to the entire Amarillo community for your support!
- Evening: A Casino Night & Silent Auction As the sun sets, the celebration continues for adults with an exclusive ticketed Casino Night. Get ready for an evening of friendly competition at casino tables, a chance to bid on incredible silent auction items, and the opportunity to connect with fellow supporters in a fun and elegant setting.
All proceeds from these events will go directly to EFTX-West Texas.
This new format allows us to create an inclusive and dynamic event that appeals to a wider audience, all while continuing our vision of no Texan facing epilepsy alone.
