EPILEPSY FOUNDATION TEXAS
Finding your Way
Care at the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas often begins at a moment of uncertainty—when someone experiences a seizure or starts asking whether epilepsy may be the cause. For many individuals and families, EFTX is the first point of contact, providing guidance, trusted information, and support as they navigate diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps in care.

Navigating Care
You don’t have to figure this out alone. We help individuals and families explore epilepsy care options across Texas, understand what support is available, and take the next step with clarity and confidence.
Visit Our Clinics
EFTX clinics help individuals and families access epilepsy-related care by providing education, referrals, and connections to medical and community resources. Through our mobile clinic and partnerships, we work to reduce barriers and help people find the care they need, where and when they need it.

Supporting your Mental Well-being
Living with epilepsy affects more than physical health. EFTX supports mental and emotional well-being by connecting individuals and families to resources that address stress, anxiety, and the emotional challenges that often accompany epilepsy. Mental wellness is an essential part of care, and we help ensure individuals are supported at every stage of their journey.
EFTX Support Groups
Our support groups offer a welcoming space for individuals and families to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who understand life with epilepsy.

The EMU Support Squad
During an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) stay, our trained volunteers offer comfort, connection, and helpful resources to patients and families when support matters most.
Attend a Camp
EFTX camps provide children and families affected by epilepsy with safe, inclusive experiences designed to build confidence, independence, and connection—while creating memories that last a lifetime.
