Open Arms & Thankful Hearts (O.A.T.H.)

Open Arms Thankful Hearts (OATH) is a nonprofit organization that connects eligible uninsured and underinsured individuals with prescription medication assistance programs. Working with pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare partners, OATH helps patients apply for free or reduced-cost medications while providing guidance throughout the application process. The organization serves communities across the Coastal Bend and South Texas, helping improve access to life-saving prescription medications for those facing financial barriers.

Gulf Coast Community Services Association

The Gulf Coast Community Services Association, Inc. (GCCSA, Inc.) is a non-profit organization that serves the most vulnerable populations of Greater Houston. Founded in 1965, GCCSA, Inc. provides numerous programs designed to eliminate the inhibitive conditions of the under-resourced populations of Harris County, Galveston County, and Brazoria County.

Sugar Land On-Demand

Sugar Land on Demand is a microtransit service operated by the City of Sugar Land that offers affordable, on-demand transportation for residents and visitors. Riders can request shared trips through a mobile app or by phone to travel within designated service zones for medical appointments, work, shopping, dining, and other everyday needs. The service is designed to improve mobility and provide flexible transportation options for the community.

Texas Health and Human Services

Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) administers a wide range of programs that help Texans access essential services and benefits. Through HHSC, individuals and families can apply for Medicaid, SNAP food benefits, TANF, long-term care services, behavioral health programs, disability services, caregiver support, and the Medical Transportation Program, which provides eligible Texans with free transportation to covered medical appointments. HHSC also offers resources for aging, child and family services, and community support programs, helping Texans connect with the services they need to improve their health, independence, and quality of life.

Navigate Life Texas

Navigate Life Texas is a Texas Health and Human Services initiative created by parents, for parents, to help families raising children with disabilities or special healthcare needs. The website offers trusted information on healthcare, education, financial assistance, legal rights, transition to adulthood, insurance, respite care, and local services across Texas. Families can also search for support groups, events, and community resources to help navigate every stage of their child's journey. While Navigate Life Texas does not provide direct services, it connects families with reliable programs and organizations throughout the state.
