Camp Spike ‘n’ Wave offers a safe and fun residential camping experience for children and teens living with epilepsy. Through generous donations, Epilepsy Foundation Texas provides this unique opportunity at no cost to families of a child with epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation Texas hosts three camps during the summer. Camp Spike ‘n’ Wave is considered the largest summer camp for children and teens with epilepsy in the United States.
Who Can Apply?
Children and teens, ages 8-14, with the primary diagnosis of epilepsy or seizure disorder. Children and teens must be receiving treatment for epilepsy and live within the region served by the Epilepsy Foundation Texas. Campers are only allowed to attend one summer camp session.
Where is Camp?

Camp Spike ‘n’ Wave takes place at the beautiful and fully accessible Camp For All located in Burton, Texas (90 miles NW of Houston).
What Do You Do at Camp?
Throughout the week, campers swim, boat, fish, take nature hikes, play group sports and participate in arts and crafts projects.
Who is on Staff?
At camp we are proud of our trained counselors who offer around the clock care and an outstanding team of medical professionals from Texas Children’s Hospital who are present during the entire week of camp. This allows our campers to have a safe, stable and comfortable environment away from home.
