As you know, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts on our community are changing constantly, sometimes by the hour. The Epilepsy Foundation Texas team has been engaged constantly in monitoring the situation and planning our response.
Even with uncertain times, the Epilepsy Foundation Texas stands with you and is here for you. We will be available by phone, email, and social media. We will look for ways to connect with you that may be different, but still meaningful. We do not know future holds, but you can be assured that no matter what, the Epilepsy Foundation Texas will hold true to our mission to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

EFTX clinics are open and we’re taking extra steps every day to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff. Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases, we are experiencing an increase in Telemedicine visits daily. At this time, we are also experiencing a higher than normal call volume. We are working hard to answer calls and respond to messages.
Thank you for your patience. For questions or concerns please feel free to call our clinic staff today. 713-789-6295 Ext 225.
Out of an abundance of caution and to maintain social distance, we will be cancelling all in person support groups until further notice. During this time we will be looking into different avenues to connect with you through other venues such as virtual meetings. Try out the forums and chat at epilepsy.com. Share good news and support each other on the Epilepsy Foundation Texas’ social media.
We hope to get back together in person soon. Be sure to look for communication from your support group leader.
This year’s Walk to END EPILEPSY in Tyler, Lubbock, The Woodlands, and El Paso are now VIRTUAL WALKS due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
We will instead be kicking off National Epilepsy Awareness Month with Virtual Walks on Saturday, November 7, 2020. While we are disappointed we won’t be seeing you in person, we are excited to be hosting this Virtual Walk to END EPILEPSY – and we hope you are, too!
